The Acupressure for Pain Relief in Labour workshop is on again!!!

THIS WORKSHOP WAS NEARLY FULLY BOOKED WITHIN THE FIRST DAY, SO GET IN QUICK!

This workshop is always in high demand and books out quickly.  We only allow a few couples (and a couple of midwives) per workshop, so book now.

What is this workshop?

An easy, drug free method of pain management which gives amazing levels of relief as well as a sense of well being and control.

Acupressure stimulates the release of endorphins, the body’s natural pain killers, and blocks pain receptor sites. At the same time cervical dilation and contraction efficacy is increased, shortening labour.

Fathers or support people are able to actively participate in helping their partner through the birthing process. 

Lea Papworth, a midwife/acupuncturist, will guide you through the technique and location of 8-10 points for use during different stages.

This is such a useful workshop, and it only costs $40- per couple (whether that be the father of the baby or a birth partner).  We also have limited free spaces for Midwives.
