The Terms & Conditions on this page relate to - Privacy - Processing of Orders - Shipping - Exchanges - Faults.

PRIVACY

When you order online, your details are stored securely in an electronic file.  If you opt to pay via Credit Card, your Credit Card details stay on the system on a secure server, until the payment is processed, and then they are deleted off the system.  Only the person in charge of Internet Orders, and management ever have access to this part of our website.

At times we will print an order onto paper, in order to make processing easier.  If we do so and have printed your Credit Card details, the numbers are erased off the sheet as soon as your payment is processed. Only the person in charge of processing Internet Orders ever will look at your printed order, unless you telephone the store and make an enquiry about it and a staff member is asked to check your order to be able to answer your query. The printed form of your order is stored in a secure location with an alarm system in place.

Your details will only ever be used to process your order.

If you sign up to our newsletter, your details will only be seen by the person in charge of Newsletter Subscriptions and their assistant/s.  Your details will never, for any reason, be shared with a third party.

PROCESSING OF ORDERS

If we have your items in stock, your order will be processed usually within 24 hours of your payment being processed.  If your ordered items are out of stock, but due to arrive within a reasonable time, we will hold onto your order and process it as soon as the item/s arrive.

If there is going to be an extra delay of any kind, we will email you to let you know.

As your order moves through different stages such as being authorised, and shipped, you should receive email notifications from our online ordering system.  You are welcome to telephone FREEcall 1800 462 449 at any time to check upon the progress of your order.

SHIPPING

We charge a flat fee of $6- for orders, unless it is stated in the order description and reflected in the item price that we need to charge any extra for heavy or large items.

All orders are sent via standard Australia Post or Courier.  If you wish to have your order sent via Registered or Insured mail, you must notify Nature's Cradle in the comments section of your order form at the time of order, or prior to us sending your order out.  As the amount we actually pay for posting your order is usually much higher than our flat $6- fee, you will need to pay for Registration and Insurance if you have requested them.

If you do not opt to have your order sent via Registered and Insured mail, and are not willing to pay the extra amount for this service, Nature's Cradle cannot be held responsible for any orders that do not arrive at their destination.  At the time of writing this, we have not had a delivery go missing, however that is no guarantee of the future as once the package has left our hands it is out of our control. 

If your order has not arrived at its destination, it would be advisable to check with us to find out how we sent your order.  If it was sent via courier, we will have a tracking number.  If it was sent via Australia Post, we will have to ask you to telephone your local delivery centre, as that is what we are directed to tell you to do by Australia Post when making enquiries into any packages that we have sent.

We feel that $6- is a very low postal fee, and considering that many of the products we sell have a low profit margin due to the fact that they are ethically made, we cannot afford to make postage any cheaper.

EXCHANGES

If at any time you receive items and change your mind about them, you are welcome to send them back to us for exchange.  You need to pay any postal charges for doing so.

You are welcome to exchange any new and unused item, sent back in original condition, providing it is not a sale item, and it is still an item that we currently sell.

FAULTS

If you believe that an item you have purchased through us is faulty, you need to contact us immediately.  Sometimes you will be directed to return the faulty item to us, and sometimes you will need to return it directly to the maker/manufacturer.   As we are the sellers of items, we cannot be held responsible for faults, we need the authority of the maker/manufacturer before we are allowed to exchange an item.  In many cases the maker/manufacturer may opt to repair an item.
